Every year at our Annual Conference, we award Life Memberships to candidates who have been nominated by their peers for outstanding contributions to the Industry.
As we approach the date of our Annual Conference, we would like to remind you of the criteria that applies if you wish to make a nomination for 2024.
To be eligible for Life Membership a person must have shown outstanding service to RITANZ or to the insolvency profession and meet the general criteria for membership to RITANZ. To assist members in considering nominations for this role, the Board has considered factors which it will take into account when determining whether a nominee has shown outstanding service to RITANZ or to the insolvency profession.
Those factors include: whether a nominee is a past or present member of RITANZ; where a nominee is a non-member, any exceptional circumstances which evidence the nominee’s outstanding contribution to the industry; the level of seniority or experience the nominee has achieved in their career; and their significant contribution to RITANZ or the industry in a senior role.
Each nomination for Life Membership needs to be proposed by a minimum of two RITANZ members and provided to the Board in writing by the Monday 8 April. The nomination should explain why the nominee should be a Life Member, taking into account the factors above and any other information the nominators consider relevant.
Once all nominations are received, the Membership Sub Committee will review the candidates taking into account the above factors and RITANZ’s general admission criteria and will then provide a recommendation to the RITANZ Board.
The Board will then invite the chosen candidate to accept the admission and the invitation to become a RITANZ Life Member.
